Op zaterdag 5 oktober 2024 komt de internationale LEGENDS of ROCK Tribute Tour naar de tot Muziektempel omgebouwde Vanzantehal in Nieuw-Vennep met een spectaculaire XL POP/ROCK-editie. De No.1 tributebands van AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Queen, David Bowie, Aerosmith, Deep Purple en The Rolling Stones spelen op indrukwekkende wijze alle hits en de beste albumsongs van hun muzikale helden. Op ons XL podium, met dynamische lichtshows en special effects en in een perfecte ambiance zorgen onze topbands met passie en volle overgave voor een aaneenschakeling van adembenemde concerten en vele muzikale hoogtepunten. Met dit unieke programma zullen wij de Vanzantehal in Nieuw-Vennep op zijn grondvesten laten schudden en is deze Muziektempel op zaterdag 5 oktober 2024 ‘The Place To Be’!

Op zaterdag 5 oktober zorgen Aeromsmith by Boys In The Attic, Deep Purple by Purple Strangers, Rolling Stones by Sticky Fingers, David Bowie by Golden Years, Queen by Miracle, Guns N’ Roses by Slash N’ Roses, AC/DC by ACinDC e en Metallica by Present Danger voor een POP/ROCK-ervaring van het allerhoogste niveau!

Vanzantenhal, IJweg 1415, 2152 NB in Nieuw-Vennep opent op zaterdag 5 oktober om 12.00 uur haar deuren en het programma start 13.00 uur.

In 2005, the band members decided to bring a Metallica set in addition to the regular performances. In the year 2007/2008, the band decided to register as a Metallica tribute for the national band competition "Clash of the cover bands". This was a great period for the band, in which, in the run-up to the final, great stages such as the Mezz Breda, the Effenaar Eindhoven, 013 Tilburg and Paradiso Amsterdam were visited. Ultimately, this Metallica tribute was chosen as the winner in the national final in the Vechtse Banen in Utrecht. In addition, Thijs received the award for best guitarist. Meanwhile, the Metallica repertoire has expanded into a spectacular tribute show.

In 2005 besloten de bandleden naast de reguliere optredens een Metallica-set te gaan brengen.In het jaar 2007/2008 besloot de band om zich als Metallica tribute in te schrijven voor de landelijke bandcompetitie "Clash of the coverbands". Dit werd een mooie periode voor de band waarbij, in de aanloop naar de finale, vette podia als, de Mezz Breda, de Effenaar Eindhoven, 013 Tilburg en Paradiso Amsterdam werden aangedaan. Uiteindelijk werd deze Metallica tribute in de landelijke finale in de Vechtse Banen te Utrecht gekozen tot winnaar. Daarnaast mocht Thijs de award van beste gitarist in ontvangst nemen. Inmiddels is het Metallica repertoire uitgebreid tot een spectaculaire tributeshow.
